Cockatoo Software

A Change of Direction

Published on 14 March, 2014 by Keith Pitty

The time has come for Cockatoo Software to make a change of direction.

I have accepted a permanent role with Blake eLearning. Having provided services to Blake for several years, it is an outcome that I am very happy with.

The role gives me the opportunity to focus fully on contributing to Blake’s development team as they continue to improve and extend their suite of educational web products. I’m looking forward to being even more involved with enabling children to learn via Reading Eggs, Reading Eggspress and Mathseeds.

What does this mean for Cockatoo Software?

Cockatoo Software will continue trading, in a limited capacity.

Where the client relationship doesn’t conflict with my commitment to Blake, and the project makes sense, we will provide services.

For the moment, that means continuing to support several small sites. In the future, it may include short projects that I can squeeze into evenings and weekends.

As I prepare to start my new role this Monday, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the customers Cockatoo Software has had the privilege of assisting over the last six years.
